Chester Visitor Centre is reputed to be the biggest visitor information centre in Britain. It was also the very first tourist information office and it is a good starting point for exploring Chester.

The Visitor Centre provides information on Chester and the surrounding areas, and local events.

• Youth Hostel Association membership agency
• Ticket office for concerts, theatre and other events, and the Guide Friday Chester Tour
• Tickets for the city walking tours (also one of the departure points)
