Created for discussion about the Glass Slug.

What is it about the glass slug (as it was famously called by the Chester Standard) which causes so much discussion? Is it really that ugly? Is it just that people would rather have a car park?

Looks like it's going to be axed now. Latest news is that the council was meeting on 20 May to formally reject it. Am surprised there's been nothing in the Chron on this, though...

^^ Maybe their's a reason it hasn't been in the papers. Its been over a week since the meeting and the papers would of known about it. Maybe they didnt come to a conclusion. But its running out of time now to stop it, a decision has got to be made by this Thursday.
