Hoole's best-known Chinese chippy (alongside the far better Hoole Fish Bar), it offers a standard Chinese menu, the usual range of fish and chips, plus "Greek" dishes (limited to kebabs and chasseur, which I always thought was French). The best thing here, which is stretching the word "best", is undoubtedly the Chinese food, which is ok as takeaway Chinese goes. My last encounter with Sea Breeze's fish and chips was a grease-loaded disappointment.

Service is fast and furious here, but don't expect it to be friendly. The mostly Chinese staff don't speak a lot of English and are more focused on getting you in and out quickly than passing the time of day. Telephone orders are accepted.

As might be expected, the Sea Breeze has loyal fans who wouldn't dream of nipping down to Ermine Road's Hoole Fish Bar. As Chinese food goes, the Sea Breeze is below par compared with the latter, whose chips and fish are also considerably better.
