Lively city centre bar. Live sport on TV. Sometimes full of students.

Cheap for a lot of things, pint of Fosters £1.79, and you can get some excellent deals on meals, a decent full english for £1.99 (a massive one for £2.99) and really well priced main courses, most below a fiver. Though if you want to splash out you can go for the "chicken AND steak combo". Still only six quid, and it sounds like enough to feed a family for a week.
