Chester's only shop entirely dedicated to selling organic and fair-trade produce and products. It's just like popping to the Spar except everything is organic or fair-trade! Owner Mark Holme stocks a fantastic range of fresh fruit and veg, chilled and frozen meats, and all manner of grocery products (including vegan items - check out the vegan chocolate truffles!), plus breads and alcohol. He also sells a range of toiletries and cleaning products.

A major plus is the home delivery service. You can order 3 kinds of veg box: standard (£20) with 15 veg varieties and 5 kinds of fruit; basic (£10) with 6 kinds of veg and 2 types of fruit; and the veg-only box at £15, which has 15 kinds of veg. There's no delivery charge and if you want to order anything in stock on top of the box, just let him know (minimum spend for this is £20).

As a regular customer, I can say that the veg boxes are top quality and you don't get piles of cabbages every week. Top notch.
