Christine Russell MP

Born 25.03.45, Holbeach, Lincolnshire.
One daughter, one son.
London School of Librarianship, Polytechnic of North West London.
Before entering Parliament was Co-ordinator of Advocacy Project, MIND. Previously PA to Brian Simpson MEP, Lyndon Harrison
MEP and Librarian for London Borough of Camden, University of Glasgow and Dunbartonshire County Council.
MP for City of Chester since 1997. Member of the Environmental Audit Select Committee (1999-2001).
Member of the Magistrates Association and the Civic Trust.
Chair of Chester Womens' Hostel Association. Member of Management Committee of Chester CAB. School Governor.

Ms Russell has announced she will stand in the next General Election (sometime before 2010). She is defending a majority of 915.
