Famous for its misspelt sign. Apparently the sign writer was on a break and started drinking. When returning to work drunk, he erected a second 'or' without realising the mistake. The sign was kept as a talking point for the pub. A good thing he retired soon after, or we would have Pastarrarrazi and Brannannigans as well.

Traditional English pub with friendly local trade. Known as the most haunted pub in Chester and featured in the local Ghost Tour. Appeared on TV in 'Haunted Cheshire'.

A must for a shoppers lunch or quiet night out. Do a great Quiz on Mondays. Small pub and not really much good for large parties or boozy binges.
