One of the most well-established literature festivals in the UK, Chester LitFest has been running annually since 1998 in celebration of the written and spoken word. It occupies an important slot in the city’s cultural calendar and regularly attracts authors and performers of international repute.

The event takes place in October and includes readings and performances, panel discussions, book signings and workshops.
