The L'eau T Cuisine is a broadbeam restaurant barge, based on an oversized narrowboat similar to a Dutch barge. It is moored on the Shropshire Union Canal along what used to be an industrial part of the Chester Canal. The interesting feature of this restaurant is that once everyone is seated it sails off down the canal.

Moored on the canal at the back of the Mill Hotel. The starter is served, you sail away, then you return to the hotel to collect the main course.

OK when it's light outside, but not quite so interesting in the dark! Here is is a link to a video of the boat on action (same as the video on the right).

These range from less than £20 for lunch to less than £30 for dinner. A menu can be found on the Mill's website. Once a month L'eau-T Cuisine is host to the "Queen Mary Crown Cruise", described as "a unique exclusive glittering occasion" (and priced at £49 per person) which includes a Champagne reception, a six-course meal with selected wines and liqueur flamed coffees.

All food is served aboard, but prepared in the Mill Hotel's kitchen.
