Good Food Menu [1] [2]

Though some "Main" courses may not be substantial enough without a further side order. That said the food was well cooked and presented, however one would recommend that meat dishes such as the lamb and bean fondue come with a side order inclusive of the main price.

The 'beef with all the trimmings' Sunday lunch menu at £8.25 was a tad expensive but until you try it don't knock it. It was amazing. The beef was cut into thick slices with perfect redness and side orders of fantastic fresh veg. Especially nice was the the carrot and swede puree with cumin and creamy leek which accompanied the yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, new potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli perfectly. The best Sunday lunch you'll have guaranteed, even if you're vegetarian and leave the beef off.

[edit] Conclusion

The pub has lost alot of character. And has gained an excellent character of its own in the short time it has been open.

[edit] History
