Back in 2008, the Green Chester website was designed to make green choices in the Chester area easier - whether you wanted to reduce the 'food miles' when you shoped, support independent traders or campaign on climate change. It was about the simple steps you can take with minimal inconvenience, and perhaps saving a bit of money at the same time, to help ensure a safe environmental future. The site was a new Friends of the Earth group, aiming to campaign locally on environmental issues and to support the campaign activities of the national Friends of the Earth organisation. It was found here Chester Green Guide but is now defunct.
