Very much the new kid on the block, G.A.L. opened in December 2007 in the premises of the former Office/Little Fifteen (both of which were doomed, but maybe G.A.L. will do better).

Interiors are minimal and stylish but with the odd eclectic touch - such as gorgeous crystal globes over the booths. Blue is the main colour theme with natural wood, mirrors and contemporary artwork. Its not in your face or trying to be too trendy which is a refreshing change!

Average - A 3 course meal, including drinks will be just over £20 per person.

The menu is an eclectic mish-mash dishes, such as Thai green curry, steaks, pasta dishes, etc. Plenty of choice to suit all tastes.

Chester's (current) best kept secret. Delicious food and big portions for a fraction of the price you'd pay in some of the 'chains' we currently have in Chester. Massive choice of dishes on the menu so something to suit whoever you go with and whatever mood you are in. The food is presented really nicely and comes with dressings and side dishes which complement the dish rather than try to be posh or clever. If you enjoy food (real fresh food) then this is a great place to go.
