This used to be the city's Cocoa House, then a pine furniture shop, then a Greek restaurant. Now it has become Donato and Sandro's pretty impressive Italian. There is nothing pretentious about the menu: "what it says is what you get" and here... that is good enough!

Donato and Sandro's is located on Brook Street on the way to (or from!) Chester railway station.

The building is a jewel - The present writer almost bought it back in the very early 90s (when "City Strippers" closed) just to live in. I guess it was the little room above the front door up the spiral stair...
