A traditional pub. kept clean & tidy, with beers well kept. Excellent food on offer 7 days a week until 21:00hrs.
Situated on the corner of Duke Street, and Lower Bridge Street, a stones throw from the River Dee, and in the other direction the Town Centre. Surrounded by restaurants and other bars 100yds from the old city walls.
Smart, Clean, Traditional decor, this pub is a good place to come and dine. There is a juke box but the noise level is kept low, and does not disturb those seeking a quite pint. Sunday evening sees an open house folk evening with everyone welcome. Thursday evening sees a good quiz night with a decent prize, and all entry monies (£1.00 per person) going to a local children's charity. Typical town centre prices on beers wines, and spirits. The food is excellent value for it's quality, and for location.
Large portions of quality food, served promptly and efficiently by friendly staff.
So if you are looking for somewhere to slip away from the Town Centre crowds of Chester, The Cross Keys is as good a Haven of tranquility and fine food and beers as any in the town.
