The headquarters for the police in Chester is based at Blacon Avenue, Blacon, Chesrer CH1 5BD. Helpdesk hours are 8am to 8pm and the non-emergency number is 0845 458 0000.

The Cheshire Constabulary headquarters was formerly based on Grosvenor Road opposite Chester Castle. It was also the HQ for Chester police. The county constabulary decided in 2001 to move to Winsford and the building was demolished in 2007.
