Chester based walking club offering up to three grades of walks on Sundays and a walk on alternate Wednesdays.

Examples of Walks: Sun 29th June:

• A (slower pace), Lliwedd, 0830 start

Offers of walks for the Winter Programme will be welcomed by the Rambles’ Organisers

Tues 1st July:

• From Chester Castle CP, Millennium Trail

Wed 2nd July:

• C, Malpas, 13km (8m), meet Caldy Valley

Sun 6th July:

• A+, Tryfan & Bristly Ridge, 0830 start (Joint ramble with N Wales RA).
• B, Conwy Mountain, 16km (10m)
• C, Adlington & Macclesfield Canal, 12km (7.5m)

Tues 8th July:

• From the Candle Factory, Burwardsley

Wed 9th July:

• C-, 8km (5m), details from membership sec

Thursday 10th- 13th July:

• Camping weekend at Pembridge, N Herefordshire.

Grades of walks: A - Mountain walk - more than 600m B - Upland walk - more than 300m C - Field & woodland - less than 300m

Led by experienced leaders all walks last approx 6 hours - bring picnic & flask. Normally 'car share' these walks cover North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire and Lancashire. Derbyshire.

Sorry - no dogs allowed on our walks.

The club runs social evenings during the winter and evening walks in the summer.

There is a camping & caravan & B&B section who are often away together.

We are an independent club. Why not come and join us on a trial basis without paying the fee. We are forty plus, but all ages welcome.
