The light blue path is 14km (about 8 miles) and is unsuitable for cycling between Littleton and Hoole. The green detour, which is part of the Estuary River Canal walk adds a couple more miles along the river (including the Minerva shrine and the Amphitheatre) and the dark blue path adds in a walk out to Heronbridge - for which see the Round Handbridge and Heronbridge path.
